Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to delete your Disoya account and any data we received from your connected Instagram or Facebook accounts. We comply with the Meta Platform Terms data-deletion requirements and with applicable privacy law (GDPR, CCPA).

1. Overview

You have full control over the data Disoya stores about you. You can:

• Disconnect a single social account from Disoya at any time without deleting your Disoya account.
• Delete your entire Disoya account, which also removes every connected social account, queued posts, brand assets and generations.
• Request a manual deletion by email if you cannot access your account.

Each of these paths is detailed below.

2. Delete Your Disoya Account

To permanently delete your account and all associated data:

1. Sign in at disoya.com/login.
2. Go to Settings in the dashboard sidebar.
3. Scroll to Delete account at the bottom of the page.
4. Confirm the deletion. You will be signed out immediately.

Your data is removed from our active systems within 24 hours and from encrypted backups within 30 days. We send a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.

3. Disconnect a Social Account Only

If you only want to remove the link between Disoya and your Instagram or Facebook account (without deleting your Disoya account):

1. Sign in at disoya.com/login.
2. Open Connections in the dashboard sidebar.
3. Click Disconnect next to the account you want to remove.

When you disconnect, Disoya immediately revokes the access token, deletes any queued auto-publish jobs for that account and removes the connection record from our database.

4. If You Removed Disoya from Facebook

If you remove Disoya from your Facebook account's Apps and Websites settings (Facebook → Settings → Apps and Websites → Active → Disoya → Remove), Facebook automatically notifies Disoya. We then:

• Delete the corresponding social_connections row(s).
• Cancel any queued scheduled_posts tied to that connection.
• Delete cached profile media (avatar, page name) we copied during the OAuth flow.

You do not need to do anything else for the social-account data to be removed. Your Disoya account itself remains intact unless you also delete it via section 2.

5. What Gets Deleted

When you delete your Disoya account, the following are removed:

• Profile information (name, email, brand kit, billing identifiers).
• All generated images and videos in your Gallery.
• All calendar events, scheduled posts and AI conversations.
• Every connected social account's OAuth tokens and metadata.
• Usage telemetry tied to your user identifier.

Stripe billing records that we are legally required to retain (invoices, refund history) are kept for the period required by tax law (typically 7 years), but no longer linked to identifying information beyond what Stripe itself stores.

6. Retention & Backups

After a deletion request, data is removed from active databases within 24 hours. Encrypted backups are rotated on a 30-day cycle and any residual copies of your data are overwritten within that window. We do not restore deleted accounts from backups.
